If you are manually uninstalling Winamp we suggest you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Winamp full

The files below remain on your disk by Winamp when you uninstall it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Winamp full\demoedit.aac
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Winamp full\links.xml
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Winamp full\Plugins\dropbox.ini
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Winamp full\Plugins\gen_ml.ini

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.amf
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.avr
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.far
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.htk

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AudioCD\shell\play\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{2758dffc-f9fb-4c62-82c9-fdc9bceb5e9c}\InprocServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{2758dffc-f9fb-4c62-82c9-fdc9bceb5e9c}\ToolboxBitmap32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{28041299-f00d-4156-88c7-4c663cd47b00}\InprocServer32\

A way to remove Winamp from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Winamp is a program released by Nullsoft, Inc. Sometimes, computer users want to erase it. 7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Winamp.

All the items of Winamp that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
