How to uninstall Winamp with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Winamp is a program released by the software company Nullsoft, Inc. Some computer users choose to remove this application. Sometimes this is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some knowledge related to PCs. The best QUICK procedure to remove Winamp is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your computer.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Winamp or simply click the Search feature and type in "Winamp". The Winamp program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Winamp in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Winamp, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
