If you are manually uninstalling ZoneAlarm we suggest you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{4073CD02-7996-48D7-AFDF-297676C27CA6}

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following values:

A way to delete ZoneAlarm from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ZoneAlarm is an application offered by the software company Check Point Software. Sometimes, users choose to erase this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this by hand takes some skill regarding PCs. One of the best EASY manner to erase ZoneAlarm is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find ZoneAlarm or simply activate the Search field and type in "ZoneAlarm". If it exists on your system the ZoneAlarm program will be found automatically. After you select ZoneAlarm in the list of applications, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about ZoneAlarm, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for ZoneAlarm:

• The software company is: http://www.checkpoint.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\ZANG\Install\ZANG_Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove ZoneAlarm.


8. After uninstalling ZoneAlarm, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of ZoneAlarm that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing ZoneAlarm with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
