A way to remove ZoneAlarm with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ZoneAlarm is a program marketed by Check Point Software. Sometimes, users choose to erase this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because doing this manually requires some knowledge related to PCs. The best SIMPLE procedure to erase ZoneAlarm is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your computer.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find ZoneAlarm or simply click the Search feature and type in "ZoneAlarm". If it exists on your system the ZoneAlarm program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select ZoneAlarm in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding ZoneAlarm, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ZoneAlarm:

• The software company is: http://www.checkpoint.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\ZANG\Install\ZANG_Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall ZoneAlarm.


8. After removing ZoneAlarm, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong ZoneAlarm that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing ZoneAlarm with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
