How to uninstall ZoneAlarm from your PC

How to uninstall ZoneAlarm using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ZoneAlarm is an application released by Check Point Software. Frequently, computer users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because removing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall ZoneAlarm is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate ZoneAlarm or simply activate the Search feature and type in "ZoneAlarm". If it is installed on your PC the ZoneAlarm app will be found automatically. After you select ZoneAlarm in the list of apps, some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about ZoneAlarm, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ZoneAlarm:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\ZANG\Install\ZANG_Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove ZoneAlarm.


8. After uninstalling ZoneAlarm, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong ZoneAlarm which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ZoneAlarm with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
