Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you uninstall ZoneAlarm.

A way to uninstall ZoneAlarm using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ZoneAlarm is an application by the software company Check Point Software. Sometimes, users choose to erase it. Sometimes this is troublesome because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK procedure to erase ZoneAlarm is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find ZoneAlarm or simply activate the Search field and type in "ZoneAlarm". If it is installed on your PC the ZoneAlarm program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click ZoneAlarm in the list of applications, some information about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about ZoneAlarm, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for ZoneAlarm:

• The software company is: http://www.checkpoint.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\ZANG\Install\ZANG_Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall ZoneAlarm.


8. After removing ZoneAlarm, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of ZoneAlarm which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ZoneAlarm using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
