A way to uninstall Zotero from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Zotero is an application by the software company Corporation for Digital Scholarship. Frequently, computer users try to erase it. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Zotero or simply click the Search field and type in "Zotero". If it is installed on your PC the Zotero app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Zotero in the list of apps, the following data about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Zotero, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Zotero:

• The web site of the application is: https://www.zotero.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Zotero\uninstall\helper.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Zotero.


8. After uninstalling Zotero, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Zotero that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Zotero with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
